Columbus County Home Health is the oldest Medicare certified provider of home health services in the county. Columbus County Home Health has helped thousands of families in the area since 1978. It provides professional health care and old-fashioned, tender loving care in a patient's home and most people would rather be "at home" than anywhere else. Our patients range in age from newborns to the elderly.

Eligibility requirements are simple-the patient must be homebound and under the care of a physician. Homebound means that the client is essentially restricted to his or her place of home for health reasons and leaving the home would require a great and difficult effort.

Referrals may come directly from the patient's doctor, from a community agency, an individual, or a discharge planner at the hospital. Physician orders are required for all home health services.

Columbus County Home Health accepts Medicare, Medicaid, most insurances and self-pay.
