Planning Board Meeting Schedule

The Columbus County Planning Board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Columbus County Commissioners’ Chambers in the Columbus County Government Building located at 127 W. Webster Street in Whiteville. The Planning Board reviews and makes recommendations on ordinance text amendments, major subdivision preliminary plats, rezoning requests and conducts public hearings on special use permit requests.   If you are planning to attend a Board of Adjustment meeting, please check with the Planning Department by calling 910-640-6608, to verify the meeting date.
