The Columbus County Planning Board meeting scheduled for August 26, 2025 at 6:30 pm has been canceled.

The Columbus County Planning Board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Columbus County Commissioners’ Chambers in the Columbus County Government Building located at 127 W. Webster Street in Whiteville. The Planning Board reviews and makes recommendations on ordinance text amendments, major subdivision preliminary plats, rezoning requests and conducts public hearings on special use permit requests. Board of Adjustment Meeting Schedule

The Columbus County Planning Department along with the Columbus County Board of Adjustment has established a Date Certain date of August 27, 2025 at 6:00 pm concerning the Special Use Permit for Riverview RV Park. The meeting will be held at 127 W. Webster St., in the Columbus County Commissioners Chambers located on the 3rd floor.

The Columbus County Board of Adjustment meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Columbus County Government Building located at 127 W. Webster Street in Whiteville. The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body that hears and takes final action on variances, special use permits and appeals of administrative decisions.
