Nutrition Site Manager

General Statement of Duties
This position administers the congregate and in-home delivered meal programs at one of seven sites in Columbus County.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Implement meal services for congregate and home-delivered meal programs in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversee meal distribution, ensuring food meets proper temperature and quality standards.
- Receive meals from vendors, prepare food for congregate meals and home deliveries, and deliver meals as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure proper operation of kitchen equipment and inventory of supplies.
- Train and supervise volunteers and part-time workers; provide or arrange necessary training.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports.
- Promote the program to potential clients and the general public.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of sanitary food service standards.
- Ability to train, supervise, and coordinate volunteers and staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients, families, and the public.
- Understanding of elderly and disabled clients’ needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
- Must have visual acuity for reading, data entry, and computer work.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in the food service industry preferred.
Special Requirements
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.
